A Tampa, Florida-based executive, Jonathan Yob manages the JAY Management Corporation. Also a prominent philanthropist who supports a variety of charities, Jonathan “Jon” Yob leads the Yob Family Foundation.
In November 2020, the Yob Family Foundation made another in a series of significant contributions to the Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Palliative Care Program. The foundation’s $100,000 donation will enable the hospital team to implement its new Advanced Illness Management Service, which seeks to improve care for patients in the advanced stages of disease and set the standard for such care in the Tampa Bay area. Dr. Howard Tuch, the TGH director of palliative care, said that in the midst of the pandemic, the initiative will provide support for high-risk patients and their families.
The total cost of the program is estimated at $680,000 over the course of the next two years. The Yob Family Foundation is partnering with TGH to organize a matching donor campaign to build support within the community in order to ensure that the program is fully funded.
