Yob Family Foundation Supports Music

An entrepreneur with more than three decades of executive experience, Jonathan “Jon” Yob serves as the president of the Tampa-based boutique asset management company JAY Management Corporation. Additionally, Tampa resident Jonathan Yob leads the Yob Family Foundation, which has provided funding to the GRAMMY Museum’s Music Revolution Project.

The Music Revolution Project aims to nurture young musical talent by offering opportunities for collaboration and performance. Engaging students in academic topics such as music theory, history, and composition, the program prepares them to pursue a post-secondary education or professional opportunities in the music industry. In addition to technical instruction, the program encourages students to form ensembles to gain practical experience performing as a group, as well as to record the material they’ve written.

The program makes a special effort to broaden access among underrepresented communities, inviting students to participate in four weeks of intensive music performance instruction at no cost. The program is open to high school and college students between the ages of 14 and 21.
