Corbett Trauma Recovery Center - Division

An alumnus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, Jonathan Yob has served as the president of the Yob Family Foundation since 2012. Under Jonathan “Jon” Yob’s leadership, the foundation supports essential community services offered by the Tampa Crisis Center.

The Crisis Center supports families who have experienced challenges such as violence, financial distress, or medical emergencies. In 2012, the center established the Corbett Trauma Recovery Center to serve children and adults suffering from complex trauma. The Corbett Trauma Center utilizes evidence-based therapy modalities such as trauma-informed behavioral therapy and cognitive processing, as well as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to help patients recover from trauma and thrive in their daily lives.

In addition to individual therapy, the Corbett Trauma Center hosts a weekly meeting group for survivors of sexual assault. Open to individuals aged 18 and up, the group offers a compassionate, anonymous way for survivors to share their stories and find support.
